Barbara H. Horler was born and raised in Illinois. She has been involved in photography since her high school years in the Chicago suburbs. Although her initial career path, as an educator, did not focus on photography, her interest and skill set continued to develop. At this juncture, photography is her major interest and vocation. Barbara is eclectic in the creation of her images. While she enjoys learning new techniques and experimenting with different styles, her own vision is to evoke interest and emotion in items and places that are often overlooked and unappreciated.
